MARIA’S STYLE: I wouldn’t be able to describe my own style properly, but all my looks have that romantic and vintage vibe..
INSPIRATION: Everything inspires me somehow , but i´m strongly inspired by Lolita girls, baby clothes, XVIII century paintings, retro films and the female icons from the sixties.
ONE TREND YOU’D LIKE TO SEE DISAPPEAR: I can’t stand Tie-dye hair, lately everybody thinks it’s cool but it was two years ago, not now.
STYLE CRUSH: Vintage dresses, socks and hats.
TATTOOS AND PIERCINGS: I like them, but is not my business.
WHAT IS ONE INTERESTING FACT YOU’D LIKE TO SHARE? I am a bargain hunter and don’t believe you have to spend a lot of money to look good.
IMPACT: I think fashion, its almost everywhere, you can smell it everywhere, and after all everybody has to get dressed every single day and choose their own fashion.
SPRING AWAKENING: [I like to wear] short dresses with floral prints mostly, white socks and flat-forms.
WAY TOO COLD | MINI KANYE WEST (VIDEO)
There is just too much badass in this video! In a quick-to-go-viral unofficial video for West’s new hit “Way Too Cold,” a pint-size Brooklyn-based Kanye West imitator raps the PG-13 lyrics while making his way through midtown New York with a hot blond at his side. So fun! Check it out (above).

KANYE WEST FALL/WINTER 2012.13
Oh what a difference a year makes. Kanye West returned to the runway tonight at Paris Fashion Week and revealed his brand new Fall/Winter 2012 collection tonight with his celebrity and designer friends in tow.
Kanye showed a polished, structured, luxe, edgy with an urban, sexy power-woman theme. Tall banded leather boots and sheer and cut-out booties accompanied all of his looks and his recent work with Givenchy (many of Kanye’s WTT tour clothes were made with the deisgner) clearly showed through this second collection. Thoughts?!
Today Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius drop their collaborated experimental rock album WZRD. You can check out the making of the album here, on Complex.
Kanye West was spotted at London Fashion Week wearing the highly anticipated “Zen Gray” Air Yeezy 2’s. The sneakers are said to be released on March 24, but no confirmation has been made by Nike yet. But what also stuck out was the green knit sweater by the Swedish brand Acne called the “Galway Sweater”. It’s said to retail at $320 and can be purchased here!
It’s been confirmed that the Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons will be leaving Jil Sander after his F/W show in Milan this week. Sources say that Jil Sander may make a return to the fashion house she founded in the 70’s, although a statement was made that “The Jil Sander Group will announce it’s new crerative director shortly.” Simons joined Jil Sander in 2005, and now this year will mark the ending.
MARY KATRANTZOU FALL/WINTER 2012.13
Mary Katrantzou stuck with her head-to-toe print signature look this season and is surely giving Erdem a run for their money! This collection is very vibrant and conceptual with exquisite details within the garments such as spoons, pencils, and even a typewriter.
Where they do that at?!After the show, Katrantzou said: “It was about showing product placement through different colors. I chose the items per colour: it was important to me to associate colors with one everyday, mundane item.” Absolutely brilliant.
Since the tragic loss of the beautiful legend Whitney Houston, there’s been an announcement made that the dresses and jewelry worn by the icon will be auctioned in Los Angels around late March. Costumes from “The Bodyguard” are ranging between $600-800. Her life was celebrated on Saturday in a funeral ceremony, may she rest in peace and God bless her family through these tough times.
